After an intensive week the youngsters will be able to put on a show.

The venue is hosting CultureNL’s week-long Multi-Arts Boot Camp which takes place from Monday, July 25, to Friday, July 29.

The intensive and fun boot camp offering a week of drama, drawing and doing all things arty is for children aged 6–12 years.

They’ll have the chance to create crazy characters, outrageous storylines, silly props and an award winning performance for family and friends to enjoy.

Children can let their imagination run wild in the improvisation workshops, learn songs and choreography to shine on stage, create their own characters and write their own script to bring together a full production in just a week.

They’ll also get the chance to get creative with visual arts to create some props and a set for the show.

CultureNL’s community arts manager Irene Halliday said: “This kind of week-long intensive format is something we have offered over many years during Easter and summer school holidays.”

“Over the years we have received a lot of great feedback from parents and children who really appreciate this opportunity to be creative while having fun and making friends.

“It’s the perfect holiday activity for budding creative types.”

The boot camp will run from 10am–4pm on the Monday-Thursday and noon-8pm on the Friday, with the cost being £60 for the week of activities.

Places are limited, to book call 01236 632828.

The boot camp is part of Let’s Go Summer, a packed programme of summer holiday activities for children, young people and families across North Lanarkshire.

From arts and crafts to reading, music, acting and cinema, there is something for everyone!
