Support groups will run all summer long
People needing vital support, help or advice for loved ones suffering issues with drink or drug addictions have been invited to attend a regular meeting.
East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership run the family support groups for those affected by someone’s alcohol or drug misuse on every second Thursday from 10am–12pm at the Kirkintilloch Baptist Church, and every second Tuesday from 1pm-3pm.
One of the group organisers said: “Numbers have dwindled off during the summer a bit due to people looking after children and grandchildren but we are still here to help.”
