Survery to set the scene for tenant’s services

COUNCIL tenants across North Lanarkshire are being asked to share their views in order to help shape the housing services they receive.

A survey – featuring 30 questions – will be sent to 36,500 tenants and those taking part will have the chance to win one of ten home improvement vouchers worth £50 each in a free prize draw.

Every survey has a prepaid envelope for a free response and for the first time, tenants will also be able to complete the questionnaire online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/nltenantsurvey2012

The council wants to find out how it can improve and develop the services that are important to its tenants; where there is good practice so that this can be put in place in other areas, and where there are problems in providing and delivering its services so that these can be resolved.

Councillor Sam Love, convener of housing and social work services, said: “We are committed to listening to the views of our tenants and acting on information and feedback you give us.

“Surveys like this are an invaluable way for us to improve the services we offer to our tenants.’’

Closing date January 11.
