Take a seat in Vaccies Park
WEARY Lanark parents and grandparents are raising their hats – while resting their legs – to the town’s Playparks Action Group.
For new benches, bought with public donations made to the group and installed by South Lanarkshire Council, have been unveiled at Bellfield Park, better known locally as Vaccies Park.
Said a spokeswoman for the group: “The parents are delighted to have a seat while they watch their children.”
