Take a walk on the wild side at Scotland’s Nature Festival

Organised by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and partners, the festival boasts a huge array of community events, taking place from the Highlands to Angus, the Central Belt, and the Scottish Borders.

In the greater Glasgow area, participants can join rangers for a trek through Darnley Country Park to to find natural ingredients for dinner; create a floral display or go on a natural or cultural heritage walk at Pollok Country Park; join the Mosswater local nature reserve celebrations with some wildflower planting, bumblebee identification, and pond dipping; and join a night-time walk to spy all of nature’s nocturnal goings-on, including activity from bats, badgers and other late night creatures at Hogganfield Park.
