Teenage girl who vanished after boarding bus may be in Springburn area


Police are becomingly increasingly concerned for the welfare of Olivia Nimmo who failed to return home to Inverness after boarding a bus to Glasgow.
She was last seen in Inverness city centre on Saturday afternoon.

Police said Olivia was expected to make the return journey home on Sunday but failed to appear.
A police spokeswoman said: “It is understood Olivia may be with contacts in Glasgow, particularly in the Springburn area, or the Wishaw area of Lanarkshire. She also has connections to Glenrothes, Fife.”
Police are appealing to the public to help trace the young woman, adding there are “increasing concerns for the teenager’s welfare”.
Olivia is described as being 5ft 6in, of slim build with a fair complexion and blue eyes. She has straight shoulder length brown/ blonde hair.

When last seen she was wearing jeans, a dark grey hooded top over a white halter-neck top, and black trainers with white soles.
Anyone with information relating to the teenager’s whereabouts is asked to call the police on 101.
