Lenzie-based Fleming Buildings Ltd won Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year.

Director Ronnie Burrows said: “Flemings were both proud and delighted to win not just one but two awards last year. For us it was recognition of the company’s achievements over 52 years, made possible by our talented, dedicated operatives and staff team.

“The awards evening itself was very enjoyable and we would encourage others to enter. All in all it was a very positive experience.”

Nonna’s Kitchen in Kirkintilloch won Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year.

Owner Peter Di Ciacca said: “It is fantastic that we were recognised for our success and achievements at Nonna’s Kitchen. We benefited by the extra exposure in local press and social media.

“The whole experience was enjoyable and the gala dinner event was great for meeting like-minded business owners, as well as being a great way to raise money for local charities.”

The 2016 event will be launched soon, with nominations in March and the awards ceremony taking place at the Eagle Lodge, in Bishopbriggs, on Friday, May 20.
