The five-year-old is a crucial member of the Trossachs Search and Rescue team alongside his owner Gayle.

The pair both volunteer for the team, and can be called out night or day, 365 days of the year to help organisations such as Strathclyde Fire and Rescue in searches.

Gayle (33) explained: “We work in partnership with Strathclyde Fire and Rescue to provide urban search dogs.

“We do a lot of training with them to prepare for incidents such as explosions, landslides, plane or train crashes.

“The dogs are trained to find the highest concentration of human scent in an area where an incident has happened and ultimately their goal is to find survivors.”
