Thieves steal two cars from same Cumbernauld street

TWO high value cars have been nicked from the same Cumbernauld street at the same time.

Savvy thieves broke into two homes on Glen Dochart Drive in Craigmarloch to steal the keys to the vehicles on Saturday, August 25.

The first break-in occurred around 3am when the occupier of the home was awakened by a loud bang.

She looked outside her window and saw a black coloured car sitting with the engine on.

She then spotted her own car – a black 11 plate Audi A4 – being driven out of her driveway.

The two cars then drove off.

The other theft was reported at around 3.30am but this time a sprint blue Audi S3 Quattro with a private number plate was taken whilst the occupiers of the house were asleep.
