Yobs threw a brick through the window of a police car at the weekend.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in Kirkintilloch on Sunday evening at about 10.15pm.

They received complaints about a large group of youths hanging about in Waverley Crescent, Kirkintilloch, behaving anti-socially and causing a disturbance.

Police officers parked their car to carry out a search of the area on foot and when they resturned to their car they found a brick had been thrown through the window.
