Toddler and mum in dramatic crash near popular pub

FIREFIGHTERS cut a mum free from her car after it crashed and ended up on its roof.

Members of the public rushed to the scene in Stepps Road, outside the Golden Pheasant pub in Auchinloch, after the car flipped onto its roof on Monday at around 9am.

Locals helped the toddler and two dogs from the car. However, the mum was trapped.

Firefighters attended the accident and cut the woman free.

It’s understood the occupants suffered minor injuries. The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics.
