Now Iain Mcwhirter is taking to the road with his Road to Referendum Tour — and one of his stops is the southside’s Glad Cafe on Friday, May 2.

His critically acclaimed book, Road to Referendum, takes the reader on a journey through the history of the UK, showing where the road might lead Scotland with unparralleled insight.

Coinciding with the release of the newly-revised paperback version of the book, this event sees the author discuss the key issues surrounding Scottish independence.

A companion to the landmark, three-part television series, Road to Referendum is seens as the essential guide to Scotland’s biggest decisions.

Including a Q&A, the event begins at 7pm.
