Police probe mystery restaurant blaze
A joint investigation by Police Scotland and the Fire Service is underway into the cause of the late night blaze which gutted a Cumbernauld restaurant.
Firefighters, who were alerted at 1.10am on Monday, had to used special cutting gear to hack through steel shutters at Cafe Asia in Dowanfield Road before they could tackle the fire.
