Two bidders for Jubilee Hall, Lesmahagow
THE future of Lesmahagow Jubilee Hall has taken another twist when it emerged that the village’s Development Trust is one of two bidders for the hall.
Under Lesmahagow Development Trust’s plans, the hall – which has been part of Lesmahagow life for over a century – would remain a community facility, with a local boxing club being the main beneficiaries.
However, as the club’s equipment would not be fixed to the premises it would give scope to other community groups to use it as they wished.
