Tyres punctured deliberately in Biggar

A number of people have been affected around Lindsaylands Road Biggar, Mill Road and Mill Place, Thankerton.

“Members of the public also report removing screws placed in holes in the road, only to find them being placed back there,” said a police spokesman.

Police Scotland are conducting an enquiry into finding those responsible for these incidents, and appeal for witnesses.

In the meantime, locals are asked to be vigilant regarding this, to check around their tyres when setting off, and to report any suspicious activity to police Scotland 101.
