Up for the challenge

More and more young people are taking up the challenge of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

Last year, 247 awards were handed out in East Dunbartonshire – 25 per cent higher than in 2012.

Participants achieved nine gold, 81 silver and 157 bronze medals.
