Vandals strike Carluke War Memorial
ONE unsavoury incident which occurred over the Carluke Gala weekend was the vandalism of the Cenotaph in Market Square.
The vandals have spray-painted a pair of green breasts on the Cenotaph which honours Carluke’s war dead from WWI, WWII and more recent conflicts.
Huge amounts of “silly-string” have also been left around the Market Square monument.
