VIDEO: Appeal for volunteer befrienders
Dozens of elderly and vulnerable people in East Dunbartonshire are living in isolation.
And members of East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action are looking for volunteers who can spare as little as one hour to make a huge difference to their lives.
People with compassion and the ability to spend time chatting with clients are wanted.
The group also arranges social events for clients and their befrienders several times a year.
