The 'Beast from the East' has brought huge disruption to the roads in and around Kirkintilloch.

The Kirkintilloch resident had no trouble getting around on skis! But that didn't stop one local resident making it to their destination!
Dressed for the weather and with a pair of skis no less, they appeared to be getting on just fine!
Kirkintilloch Herald reader Jade Hood captured the person heading down alongside the canal from her flat on Southbank Road.
