Villagers in Law hit out at loss of vital bus service

LAW villagers outlined their fury at the number 10 bus to Wishaw being axed during a fiery 45-minute meeting on Monday night.

The Tom Craig Centre Hall was packed to the rafters with around 100 locals venting their spleen about Stuarts Coaches’ controversial decision to abolish the hourly service from Law to Wishaw.

Meeting chairman Jim Wright said: “Law has been given short shrift and this route has been withdrawn without consultation.

“Poor communication by Stuarts has left us high and dry.”
