Vintage bike theft

A DISTINCTIVE vintage motorbike has been stolen from a garage in Cumbernauld by a sneak thief in what is the latest example of motor crime in the town.

The white Triumph Bonneville was taken from its lock-up in Carbrain’s Craigieburn Road - possibly in broad daylight – on Friday (July 1). Its stunned owner discovered it was gone the following morning.

Anyone who witnessed the theft or is unable to explain why such a vehicle has come into their midst is asked to contact Cumbernauld Police on 503900.
