PUPILS at Carluke’s High Mill Primary dressed up for a mock Christian wedding at Kirkstyle Baptist Church, after a term spent learning all wedding traditions.

Teacher Karen Shields said afterwards: “This event was a huge success and the children in P5, 6 and 7 thoroughly enjoyed themselves,” said Karen.

“They performed with maturity and enthusiasm and showed how well they have learned the values of a Christian wedding.”
