We’ll be back with a bright new office very soon

The offices of the Cumbernauld News and Kilsyth Chronicle are closing for a four week make-over from Monday, August 13.

We’re investing in the business by transforming the reception, editorial, photographic and advertising departments and giving them a bright new look.

During the refit we appreciate things will be a little bit tricky for our customers.

However, to make things easier we’ve lined up a series of ways to get in touch.

Reporters can be contacted Monday to Friday on 01236 725578 or on 01324 690222. You can also email them on editorial@
cumbernauld-news.co.uk

We’ll also be holding face-to-face surgeries twice a week, on Thursdays from 9am to 10am in Cumbernauld Library, and from 11am to noon at Cafe Refresh, Kilsyth.

For all family announcements and classified adverts you can call our tele-sales department on 0131 620 8329.

For display advertising you can call our Falkirk office on 01324 690222 or visit our offices in Kirkintilloch, Grangemouth or Falkirk.

There will be a temporary postbox outside the Cumbernauld office at 10-12 Tay Walk for competition entries, letters etc, but we strongly advise customers do not place cash or cheques in the postbox.

Payment for adverts can be made over the phone at any of the numbers, or in any other Johnston Press office.

Remember your Cumbernauld News and Kilsyth Chronicle will still be coming out every week, so please stay in touch.

Advertising can also be booked in advance, so pop in to the office before we close from Tuesday, August 14.

Editor Jackie Mitchell said: “We appreciate this will be inconvenient for our customers. However, the gain will be worth the pain.

“We will reopen by mid to late September, offering a great range of services for customers both in paper and online.”
