It was the grand finale of the Albert Drive Project — a year-long Tramway arts initiative encouraging residents to get together and share their thoughts on the neighbourhood.

Over 1,200 people attended performances on Saturday and Sunday, as well as an exhibition by resident artists combining installation, photography and more.

The highlight for many was a free shared meal — attended by 545 people — and project co-ordinator Abigail Howkins told The Extra: “The atmosphere was brilliant and the feedback has been wonderful.”
