Westfield youngsters have a lot of bottle

PUPILS at a Cumbernauld school will used thousands of recycled bottles to create an eco-friendly greenhouse.

The Westfield Primary students are currently taking part in an ECO project organised by affordable housing contractor Wates Living Space.

The project will involve the creation of a sustainable ‘Eco Greenhouse’ constructed from 2,000 recycled empty two litre juice bottles.

Wates Living Space are currently working on a number of new build housing projects as a framework partner for North Lanarkshire Council, and are due to commence on site with a 30 unit new build housing development in Westfield.
