Wet Wet Wet announce huge UK tour celebrating 40 years of Popped In Souled Out - Here's how to get tickets
Wet Wet Wet have announced a huge 40 date tour celebrating four decades since their debut album.
Wet Wet Wet will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album with a huge 40 date tour celebrating four decades since its release.
The tour will take around the UK throughout February and October 2027, with a number of Scottish stops along the way - including Edinburgh and Glasgow in October. The band will play Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on Thursday, October 21 and Friday October 22 before heading to Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on Saturday, October 23.
Celebrating their 1987 debut release Popped In Souled Out, it will be a chance for fans to look back on the album that announced the Clydebank band to the world.
Graeme Clark, founding member of the band, said: “When we made Popped In Souled Out, I was just a young guy. Forty years later, those songs have taken on a life of their own, and this tour is about celebrating where it all began without forgetting what followed. It’ll feel like stepping back into those original PISO shoes - only now with a lifetime of experience and with an audience who’ve been with us through every twist and turn.”
The band today features Clark, long-standing guitarist Graeme Duffin, and lead vocalist Kevin Simm.
The band will perform songs from Popped In Souled Out alongside a catalogue of hits spanning their whole career - including including the number 1’s “With A Little Help From My Friends”, “Goodnight Girl” and “Love Is All Around”, their ubiquitous cover of The Troggs’ 1960s song.

Simm said: “I’m really excited to be going back out on tour in 2027 and celebrating 40 years of Popped In Souled Out. It’s an absolute honour and a privilege as always to sing these iconic and timeless songs, and to perform them in so many venues across the UK to so many fans of the band is really a dream come true.”
Reflecting on the record 40 years later, Duffin said: “I’d have been gobsmacked if anyone had told me 40 years ago that the tracks on Popped In Souled Out would still be loved by so many and that I’d still be performing them with the band after all that time. These shows are going to be a blast, and I know that fans are going to enjoy the shows just as much as us when we hit the road again next year.”
Wet Wet Wet will also complete their first European headline tour in over 25 years in May 2026 immediately followed by a run of intimate acoustic shows in the UK.
Special guests on the 2027 Popped In Souled Out tour spread across selected dates will be Roachford, Nick Heyward, Rebecca Ferguson, Heather Small, Johnny Hates Jazz, The Christians and The South.
