What is the price of silage?
What’s the value of silage? This is a question that is probably going to get asked a lot in the coming months as there is a shortage of livestock feed.
A poor and wet summer has meant that many farms have struggled to make their normal amount of silage and, as cattle were housed earlier than normal, there will be the prospect of some farms running out before spring grass becomes available next year.
