In a victory for campaigners in Law Village, transport authority SPT has announced a new timetable offering three daily bus runs to Wishaw but there is growing anger among Lanark and Carluke train travellers as the full implications of Glasgow train timetable changes coming into effect in less than a month became clearer.

Instead of skiing in the Cairngorms, snow seekers will soon be heading to Clydesdale after planning permission was granted for a ski centre in Leadhills while over in Biggar, thoughtless drivers parking illegally are putting the lives of residents of one part of town at risk.
