A Lanark dentist has been found guilty of prescribing non-dental drugs to a number of patients and misleading a pharmicist while in Carluke there are fears that people who want to be buried in the town will be forced to find their final resting place outwith the town – due to a lack of room.

We speak to St Athanasius Primary Holly Sinclair who raised over £1200 for Classrooms for Malawi thanks to a charity raffle and auction and there’s a preview of this weekend’s Lanark Christmas Market.

In Biggar, an application to turn a picturesque barn into a permanent function venue has been given the green light by South Lanarkshire Council we have all the reaction as the developer behind the controversial plan for a micro-brewery, pub and restaurant at Moat Park withdraws its plans.
