Winds to ease off for Christmas
SOUTHSIDERS are being warned to expect Christmas Eve to be a stormy one with winds reaching 61mph.
But this is as nothing to what the north west coast can expect as winds hit the 90mph mark.
The Met Office further predicts, though, that the severe weather should ease off for Christmas Day before starting up again at the weekend.
But, for tomorrow, gusts of up to 61mph have been predicted and a yellow weather warning has been issued for those hoping to get their last-minute Christmas shopping done.
