Woman (82) dies after road accident at Bishopbriggs
An elderly woman has died after a road accident at Bishopbriggs.
The 82-year-old driver’s car was the only vehicle involved in the accident at Kirkintilloch Road yesterday afternoon.
Police and ambulance attended and the road was closed for some time.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said today (Friday, October 2): “An 82 year-old woman has died following a one car road crash on Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs on Thursday, 1 October, 2020.
“A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
The Herald understands the driver may have taken ill at the wheel.
