Woman stabbed with broken bottle during car robbery

A WOMAN was the victim of a terrifying attack during an attempted car-jacking in Springburn.

The 48-year-old delivery driver was dragged from her Nissan Micra in Ayr Street and told to hand over the keys.

When she refused she was stabbed in the chest with a broken bottle. She was also stabbed in the back and suffered a cut to her temple and a laceration to her wrist.

The attackers then made off in the car.

The woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Two 16-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the incident, which took place on Friday, November 16, at around 5.45pm.
