X Factor's Stephen Hunter opens Lesmahagow Tesco store

FORMER X Factor star Stephen Hunter has officially opened the new Tesco store in his home town of Lesmahagow.

Stephen was joined by pupils from Lesmahagow High School and Louise O'Donnell from St Andrew's Hospice and cut a ribbon to declare the store officially open.

Store manager Andrew Mexson then presented the pupils and Louise with 500 donations each as part of the launch celebrations and customers were treated to a live performance from Stephen.

Tesco also donated 1,500 to the annual Lesmahagow Doors Open event, which took place on November 17.
