The five-piece group Mini Moves - which includes member Jo Dempsey (11) from Stepps - was chosen as one of two acts to go through to the final of Sky 1’s Got to Dance on March 17.

The public voted for the group after their impressive performance to ‘Wings’ by girl band Little Mix.

Mini Moves received great feedback from the judges - Ashley Banjo (of dance troupe Diversity), Kimberly Wyatt (from The Pussycat Dolls), and Aston Merrygold (of boy band JLS).

They will now join 10 other acts in the final.

The girls are trained by Robert Hamilton of Dancepoint Musical Theatre School, in Glasgow.

They are now in the running to win £250,000, which will be used to improve their dance school.

Mini Moves are pictured with the show’s presenter Davina McCall.
