Police in plea to trace family of dead man

Police are appealing for help from the public to trace the relatives of a 69-year-old man who died recently.

Ian Neilson was found dead within his room at the Bellgrove Hotel in Gallowgate, Glasgow on Thursday, January 21.

He previously resided in the Thornliebank, Oatlands and Anderson areas of Glasgow.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Anyone who has knowledge of Mr Neilson’s relatives is asked to contact police at London Road Police Office via 101.
