Young Dumbledore's got style
The casting of Jude Law as a young Dumbledore was met with skepticism by some fans when the news was released in April last year.
Judging by reaction on Twitter, however, first impressions of Law have been favourable.
One Tweeter used the words of Kingsley Shacklebolt to praise the young Dumbledore's fashion.

@_ken91 was less impressed by Law's conventional look.
In the books, wizards had no clue how to dress like muggles and yet here’s Jude Law as Dumdledore in an outfit he pulled straight outta Zara. pic.twitter.com/8tY0aRVqep

'I'm going back to Hogwarts!'
While Jude Law's Young Dumbledore was on the end of fans adulation, the undoubted star of the trailer was Hogwarts.

Some however were outraged by an apparent continuity error in the trailer. Characters could be seen apparating into the grounds of Hogwarts - a feat impossible in the Harry Potter books.
Fans were nonplussed.
CURRENTLY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOWWW THEY ARE ABLE TO APPARATE ON HOGWARTS GROUNDS WOZZDISS???!! #FantasticBeasts pic.twitter.com/bJUvHpEFUp

One resorted to tweeting Hermione Granger.

@SharonKehoe managed to quell the mayhem when she noted that anti-apparition charms could be lifted.
FYI the current Hogwarts Headmaster can lift the Anti-Apparition Charm. For instance, in HBP Chapter 18 when the students practiced for their Apparition tests in the Great Hall. #FantasticBeasts pic.twitter.com/Ajdg8UwEyl

Hide AdJohnny Depp isn't winning fans over
The most divisive element of the first instalment of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was the appearance of Johnny Depp as notorious wizard Gellert Grindelwald.
Some were hoping for the controversial actor to be replaced.
Is it because he's been replaced in the entirety by an actor who isn't Johnny Depp? If not, no thanks. https://t.co/oTP4DqobCT

Tweeter Kate Leth suggests that film producers were aware that they had made a misstep.
