Queen’s start new season against Annan

Queen’s Park will kick off the 2015-16 league campaign with a home match against Annan Athletic on Saturday, August 8.

The SPFL league fixtures were revealed today for all four leagues in Scotland and the Spiders’ season schedule has been mapped out.

Queen’s won two and drew one of the four clashes between the sides last season, winning 2-0 and drawing 0-0 at home and winning 1-0 and losing 2-0 away.

The opening day home clash is followed by two away games, at Clyde and Arbrooath, before another home match, against East Fife.

Other notable fixtures include a festive programme which sees Queen’s take on Berwick Rangers at home on Boxing Day and Clyde away on Saturday, January 2.

Gus MacPherson’s side will also round off the season against Annan, away from home, on April 30.
