3-1 win for qp spiders
Queen’s Park’s 3-1 win over North of England side Consett on Friday night was marred by full back Gavin Mitchell being taken to hospital after an injury, writes Craig Stewart.
Mitchell was taken off before half-time after a tackle from the home side’s Josh Gray and missed teammate Billy Mortimer score a hat-trick.
Hampden head coach Gus MacPherson said: “Gavin went to hospital on Friday night and was back in on Saturday morning for a scan. He was not kept in which is a good sign however we are not yet aware of how bad the problem is.”
