Adrian Wilson takes on darts champ Gary Anderson
Adrian took on the 2015 PDC winner – who had defeated 16-times world champ Phil Taylor in front of millions of TV viewers at London’s Alexandra Palace back in January – in a special challenge match at Greaves Sports in Glasgow. And he left Anderson a worried man!
“Adrian played out of his skin against the world champion and I was very proud of him,” explained the Carstairs Primary School pupil’s dad Gary.

Hide AdWith both players starting at 301 and the scoring being done by legendary referee Russ Bray, Adrian was left with 111 after throwing his first nine darts.
And world champ Anderson would no doubt have been shaking in his boots when Adrian threw 20, treble 17 to leave double top to win the leg.
Sadly, the Carstairs kid’s effort at double 20 narrowly missed the target and Anderson duly stepped in to finish on 65.
“What a laugh it would have been if Adrian had won,” Gary added.
