Another jam packed edition of Gazette Sport

THERE’S the usual array of sports featured in Gazette Sport this week, as we reveal how a charity golf day at Hollandbush raised £5300 for Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.

Carluke Rovers footballers are pictured celebrating with the Central Division 2 trophy, and we’ve also got a story and picture in recognition of Lanark Rugby Club players’ triumph in RBS West Division 4.

Lanark United face an anxious battle against relegation after mixed results recently, but there were no such concerns for Carluke judo ace Michelle Boyle as she won a bronze medal at the prestigious Sainsbury’s School Games.

We’ve also got photographs of the openings of the bowling greens at Biggar, Carluke, Blackwood Victoria, Crawford and Tarbrax.
