John Cumming Stadium is the venue for a fixture which will see the respective Celtic and Rangers teams captained by Frank McAvennie and Andy Goram.

“This game will be very tough,” Frank said. “Some of the tackles going in will be very hard and very high.

“The edge will still be there; sometimes even more so than in the Old Firm games I played in years ago.

“I can’t afford to get injured, because I’m self-employed as a joiner and can’t take any time off my work.

“So I’ll make sure I have my shinguards on. If anyone can give me a lightweight suit of armour, I’ll wear it!”

Sunday’s fixture will also see Celtic represented by goalkeeper Stewart Kerr, maverick winger Chic Charnley and disgraced ex-politician Tommy Sheridan.

Also starring for Rangers will be Derek Ferguson, Charlie Miller and Scott Nisbet, with both teams’ remaining places filled by ordinary fans.
