CUMBERNAULD United were knocked out of the Central League Cup on Saturday by Super Premier side Clydebank.
The locals put on a good show against the Bankies, particularly in the first half, but the strength and experience of the visitors eventually told. Although United competed well and were never out of the game, self inflicted errors proved decisive against the confident top-league team who were on an eight game winning run in league and cup ties.
