Biggar Golf Club ladies contest Daily Mail Foursomes Golf
TALENTED pair Shiona Simpson and Julie Woodside were denied the chance to win a top golf tournament by the weather.
Biggar Golf Club members Shiona and Julie, the 2011 ladies club captain, had made it into the final stages of the Ladies Daily Mail Foursomes 2011 tournament.
Playing their first match of the finals, held at the Marriot Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club, the ladies were two up after only nine holes and on their way to victory under matchplay rules.
