Biggar Rugby coach Gary Parker resigns
BIGGAR Rugby Club has been rocked by the shock resignation of head coach Gary Parker.
Parker, who only replaced axed Kiwi Ants Posa in the Hartreemill hotseat this summer, told the players he was quitting in the Myreside changing rooms immediately after Saturday’s 31-15 Premier 2 defeat at Watsonians.
Stunned club match reporter Alistair Stewart said: “I’m very disappointed that Gary has quit so soon after taking over.”
