Rossvale Madrid Football Club in Bishopbriggs received a cash boost of £1,120 from Glasgow Airport’s Flight Path Fund.

The cheque was presented by former East Dunbartonshire councillor Bill Binks – a board member of the Flight Path Fund – to Lynn Bullock-Walker, who received it on behalf of the club.

Mr Binks said: “I am extremely delighted to be able to present this award to an organisation that does a tremendous amount for the youth of this community.

“I hope that this will be the catalyst for many more sports and art clubs to come forward and request assistance in funding, not just in Bishopbriggs, but throughout most of East Dunbartonshire.”
