Bowled over by their success

IT is always a tough competition when Clydesdale’s lady bowlers are together for a tournament and this year’s Clydesdale Ladies 50+ Triples Championship was no exception.

The event was organised by Clydesdale Sports Council, in partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture Ltd, and took place at Lesmahagow Bowling Club.

As always the event was well attended with 72 players, which added up to 24 triples, taking part in a full day’s bowls with everyone competiting to try and win the title - now in its 29th year.
