The 25-year-old will take on Paisley’s Craig Kelly at the Bellahouston Leisure Centyre in Glasgow on Saturday night.

It’s his first fight since he lost to Welshman Micth Buckland in a Celtic title bout in Newport in October.

Since making his pro bow in 2012 Black has won five of his seven fights with Buckland, twice, the only boxer to get the better of him.

Opponent Kelly (33) has won eight, lost eight and drawn one of his 17 fights to date.

The fight is expected to be one of the highlights of a night of boxing being promoted by Scottish boxer Willie Limond through his Lock Stock Promotions.
