Call for refund for Hollandbush golf members

A LONG-standing Hollandbush Golf Club member has hit out at what he sees as the overgrown, flooded state of the municipal Lesmahagow course which is owned by South Lanarkshire Council.

Local man John Weir has been associated with Hollandbush for over 50 years.

In a strongly worded letter to the Gazette, he has urged the council to send committee members to come and inspect the course in Coalburn Road.

John wrote: “The course has knee-high rough with overgrown trees needing trimmed and rough underneath.
