Carluke bowler Gregor Thomson wins top title
Carluke Bowling Club player Gregor Thomson beat Lanark BC’s John Green to win the Gents Champion of Champions Bowls Tournament at Law on September 18.
The tournament, featuring 11 Clydesdale club champions, had earlier seen Gregor defeat William Crooks from Coalburn Miners BC in the semi-finals and John win his last four clash against Forth and Wilsontown BC’s Tom Lindsay.
Sport Clydesdale thank Law BC for hosting the competition and all markers and umpires for their assistance on the day.
