Carluke postman Andrew Tattersall delivers victory at bowls championship
CARLUKE postman Andrew Tattersall well and truly stamped all over the opposition to win the prestigious Scottish Under-25 Bowls Championship with a first class display at Ayr Northfield on July 31.
Castlehill Bowling Club member Andrew (25) had sackfuls of fun as he delivered a series of spectacular performances in an overall package which included 10 victories.
“It was extra special for me to win this in 2011 as my son Mason was born in March this year,” said Andrew, who was cheered on at the finals by ecstatic fans including his wife Claire and dad Ian.
“By far, this is the biggest title I’ve ever won.
